How do I get a quotation?

Please make use of our Get-a-Quote page to get an obligation free quotation. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Otherwise, email us at inquiry@translationexpress.com.sg, if you have an attachment that is larger than 2MB. To speak with our consultant, dial +65 6458 2508.

What is the rate? How will I be charged?

Our charges are based on a per word basis of the source text. We offer competitive rates without compromising on quality. Prices start at SGD0.10 per word and vary according to language pair, subject area, turnaround time and volume. Our normal delivery for Best Value Package is 1-2 working days for documents less than 2000 words.

Who are the translators handling my documents?

The translators we use ar native speakers of the target languages who are trained to know the specific industry needs. Only natives who are primarily based in their home countries ar totally in-tuned with the slang, their usages and latest terminology development in the target country. Your translator are specially chosen to make sure that your language requirements ar met effectively and efficiently. With these experts working on the projects, you will be assured a high level of quality and accuracy.

What is Notarization of documents? Why do I need it?

A Notarized translation is a translation that's signed and dated by the translator in the presence of a notary public. Notarization indicates that the person signing the certification has provided the notary with identification. Some institutions may require notarized translation of academic records and credential. As such requirement differ from institutions to institutions, so do make sure you are fully informed of the notarization requirement.

Notarization will involve an extra charge to cover the notary's fee, the time and trouble for notarization, and shipment of the paper copy.

Xpress Certificate Translation (XCT)

Is XCT a machine translation system?

No. XCT is a job processing system. It handles job requests systematically to achieve fast delivery and simplicity. Your document will be translated by professional translators and proofread by editors to ensure accurate translation.

Is XCT for me?

  • Do you need certified translation of your certificates into English?
  • Does your certificate fall within one of the categories? - Academic certificates, Birth certificates, Death certificates, Marriage certificates, Divorce certificates, Driving License.
  • Is your certificate in one of the languages listed in the XCT Supported Languages List?
  • If you have more than one certificate to be translated, are they all in the same language?
  • Are the documents for use in Singapore only?

What should I do when XCT is not for me?

Contact our consultant to get a quotation for your special needs. Read "How do I get a quotation".

Am I able to receive the certified translated documents on the next working day?

This will depend on various conditions. Firstly, your job and payment have to be made before 12pm (GMT +8) and the total number of certificates in one job is not more than 4. If the previous 2 conditions are fulfilled, you are guaranteed to receive the translated documents within the next working day for your approval. We will only proceed to certify the documents once received your approval. Time taken to receive your approval will have an effect on the time to deliver the entire certified and translated documents.

Can I pay only after the document is translated?

All XCT jobs will only be processed after payment is received.

I did not receive any confirmation from Express Translation 1 hour after I made the payment. What should I do?

Upon receipt of request and payment by customers between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm (GMT +8) on working days (Mondays to Fridays, except public holidays), we will send you a confirmation email within an hour.

What is the refund policy?

Full refund will be given when documents submitted do not fulfill the requirements of XCT and when a cancellation of job is carried out before a confirmation email is sent by us. No refund will be given for cancellation of jobs after a confirmation email has been sent by us.

How can I collect the documents when it is done?

You can collect the documents at our office (our address) during business hours. Alternatively, we can courier it to you at an additional cost.

What is the difference between normal and urgent courier?

You should expect to receive the final documents on the next working day or within 3 hours upon approving the translated document.
